idox Flies the Friendly Skies

Friday, August 27th, 2010

If you’re familiar with the idox Traveler Series, then you may already know how it was created. Frustrated trying to watch a movie from his iPhone during a long flight, creator Vic Mahoney came up with the idox – making it easy for frequent fliers everywhere to watch movies more easily.

One such frequent flier is Gailen David, also known as “The Sky Steward.” As an airline travel expert, we were thrilled to send Gailen an idox Traveler Series case for his journeys. Apparently, he was equally as thrilled to receive it!

Recently, Gailen sat down with Today in South Florida, airing on NBC 6 in Miami, and shared the idox Traveler Series as one of his favorite things. You can see the clip here. Here are some great screen shots as well:

Next time you decide to fly the friendly skies – don’t forget your idox!

Friday, August 6th, 2010

Stocking?! Yes, you read that right. While Christmas may still be a few months away, we’re already working with editors who are excited to tell their readers about the idox Traveler Series case this upcoming holiday season!

The idox Traveler cases may great gifts – and are the perfect size for a stocking. Check out some of the great coverage from last Christmas!

Love the iPhone and iPod Touch but scared that you’ll drop and crack the screen? Us, too. We protect ours with Idox 360. It works as a to-go case and the perfect flying companion.

The idox hard case is as brilliant as it is simplistic. When closed, it is a really sturdy hard case for your device, and when you open it, it turns into an angled viewing base. This is of course perfect for watching a movie, or using your iPhone as an alarm clock. It provides the kind of protection you need for your iPhone or iPod touch when you pop it in your bag.

PCMag.com also included the idox Traveler Series in its article, “Last Minute Tech Stocking Stuffers” but you don’t have to wait – you can get yours now! Doesn’t it feel good to plan ahead?

Win an idox Traveler Case!

Friday, July 30th, 2010

It’s always exciting when we see bloggers share positive feedback about the idox Traveler Series with their readers. In this case, Ally from The Mommy Diaries isn’t just sharing her great review – she also has four iPod Nano idox cases to give away!

Here is part of the hands-on review from The Mommy Diaries:
What I really love about the case is how it turns into a stand. I’ve used it in the office to listen to music. My daughter watches her videos on it. It helps keep her hands away from the screen. It’s also pretty light, so doesn’t add too much weight. And it looks like it can survive a few drops.

Two of the cases will be given away during Blogmania, and there’s still time to enter!

Try and win an iPod Nano idox Traveler by following the directions seen on her post: http://budurl.com/MommyDiaries

Good luck!

We love our iPods too, but this editor REALLY loves his iPod Touch – to the point where he claims he would propose marriage if he could!

It’s a good thing he found the idox Traveler Series case. We don’t want to see how depressed he would be if anything bad ever happened to his Touch!

Check out what Michael at The Cleveland Scene as to say about the idox:

I love my iPod Touch. If I were allowed to marry it, I would. Seriously. But I hate looking at videos on it since my hand cramps after holding it a few minutes. This cool new gadget keeps your Touch, Nano or iPhone upright and stationary so you can watch Lord of the Rings without feeling like you spent three hours in hand-to-hand combat with Dark Lord Sauron.

If you love your iPod or iPhone as much as him – better get an idox Traveler Series case ASAP!

Father Knows Best

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

Last week we told you about some of the great “mommy-bloggers” who enjoy using their idox Traveler Series case. These Moms know that Dads are important too, so here are some recent Father’s Day gift guides where the idox was suggested as great gift for Pop!

Check out what KouponKaren had to say about idox in her Father’s Day gift guide:

This works perfectly and I love being able to put my iPod right next to my laptop while working.  It’s very sturdy and it fits perfectly.  Great for a traveling dad to use on a plane, or even a train.  Great for a teen too while in the car, not driving of course.

You can see her full article here!

Harrisburg Magazine
also included idox in its June issue, in an article called “Unique Gifts for Dad” Here’s a photo from that:

Another review from Coupon Scribbles also suggested an idox case as the best gift for Dad!

Is your Dad a gadget Dad? Does he have the latest ipod or iphone?  If so then you absolutely have to get an idox Traveler.  All Dad has to do is put the ipod or iphone in and he can easily view videos or movies anytime. Set it up and view.  It’s a have to have gift for your Dad. He will be so excited to see it and will immediately put it to good use. The best part is that its hands free.  Just set it up anywhere and view. It’s an awesome Father’s Day gift.

Dads love idox because they can check the sports scores, watch their favorite YouTube video or show off pictures of those adorable kids. If you’re an idox Dad – let us know!

This food blogger, and mother of three, found the idox incredibly convenient in the kitchen, saying:

“I think being able to look up recipes right on my phone is so convenient, no more having to print them out and then keep track of a pile of loose papers. The other thing I like about the idox is that it’s designed and manufactured in Wisconsin. Made in the USA is always a plus with me! “
